Ginger before meals

Postby patience_and_healing » 15 Jun 2018, 15:55

I have a slow moving colon for the past year or so, and I've found that eating a small slice of ginger before each meal helps with having a good BM the next day. Somehow it's stimulating digestion and moving things along faster than usual, but not excessively so. I'm still taking miralax because I've had trouble in the past when I stopped taking it, but I'm definitely going to stick with the ginger as well. It also seems to help with the nausea after eating that's been bothering me for the past few months. Still don't have a complete answer to that after an endoscopy.
