The dr said I would be having LIS and removing scar tissue....is the removing of the scar tissue the same thing as a fissurectomy?

Hey Ren - I do believe that a fissurectomy is done to remove scar tissue - so maybe you are also getting a fissurectomy, or a less extensive version of it. I hope you're not too nervous! Try to get a good sleep - you'll be on the road to healing and getting you're life back very soon!
