One month after surgery

i seen the doctor after 3 weeks...she said it looks raw. keep it clean and dry. see you in a month. my butt feels cold and numb. is this normal? how long does it take to heal from a fistula surgery after lis surgery. it was just a little fistula from a infection. i am sic and tired of waiting for this to heal...

Aw, yes, it takes ages! Sorry to say! My fistula has been healing since june and I've still got problems.
You have to measure your healing time in weeks and months - not days and weeks.
Make sure you are doing all you can to help it - good diet, stool softeners,and baths to keep it clean.
It will heal eventually! Honest! This is my second fistula surgery, my first one was a superficial one, and it did heal up quicker than this one is.
