Here is an article about skin tags with a fissure. It is like a very small hemmy. Mine came up after about six months; very seldom hurts, but I can feel it, like a minute pea. The pain is saved for everything else. Some CRS do not remove the skin tag, but I have no idea what the thinking is behind removal/non removal. Anyway, this is the link.

Mine was Huge and actually caused as much pain as the fissure. You would know beyond a shadow of a doubt if you had one that was worth having removed!
