Yes... another Botox question.

Postby beachgirl » 07 Dec 2011, 15:10

HI all,
my crs gave me 2 botox shots almost two weeks ago. she said give it five to seven days.
she cannot see my fissure so said this would be a diagnostic. either i have an occult fissure or i might need botox in another place. or who knows... maybe it's something else altogether?
well, i still have pain.
sigh...
can't really tell if it's even any better.
i have - like - two ok days, one bad day, one great day..; like that.
seems kind of random to me.
not sure what to do now.
i am on the nifedipene / lido ointment but it burns and gives me a headache too. so i don't use it much.
oh well. should i go for a second round? at least it really didn't hurt much when i got the shot, not much more than a flu shot or something.
i do have other problems like back problems so who knows? maybe this is from something else>? though i sure fit the picture, pain after bms, got the problem after a hard bm, burning and spasms, etc... it's been since about sept. 7.
thanks, bg

My colorectal surgeon gave them to me. you might call and ask before you make an appointment with one to see if they give them. it is no guarantee however. sorry to hear about your distress... i think a lot of us can relate to that on some level or another.
hope things get better.

hi there, u ought to see a CRS, they specialised in anal problems, not any other doctors.
