Fissure Problems Again

Postby teacherel » 03 Jan 2013, 18:05

Hi Guys
Its been ages since I last posted. Ive been doing really well with very little pain and no bleeding over the last couple of months. My surgeon told me in Dec I was doing great and only a tiny little bit of the tear to heal and that they wont be doing the LIS cause of the great healing. But guess what Im pregnant with our second child. Im not very far gone about 5 or 6 weeks and I shouldnt be really saying at this early stage but I startedd bleeding again when passing stools.. Does any one know what I can take or do while pregnant to help with this fissure... Were deligted were having a baby cause it took a few years to have our little girl, but Im anxious with what lies ahead with this fissure. I suffered very bad constipaton while pregnant with my last baby.. Can I get the bottox done while pregnant???
Im back to see my surgeon on the 17 th Jan.. What will he say????
Any advice PLEASE!!!!

Hi teacherel,
Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy!!
I am not really sure what you can have done, or take, during pregnancy.. You will have to speak to your dr about that one. In the mean time I would try to eat a fair bit of fruit and veg, chicken, fish, pulses and lots of fluids to keep bms as soft as possible.
Good luck
