I'm using Diltiazem cream for this. I also use cocobutter suppositories to soothe the area, and recently I started using special honey to promote wound healing. No word on wether that works yet, but it hasn't caused harm.

Coconut... Out of curiosity, where do the acupuncture needles go? I've never tried acupuncture, but I'm willing to try anything to help with the pain!

Where the needles go is dependent on a variety of factors, mostly unique to you. There are no acupuncture points in the rectum, so no, you won't be getting them there. Most of the points are in the forearms and feet. There's a really great point for healing the rectum on the scalp.

I've noticed from all the straining that my vaginal walls have weakend considerably. I use to be able to stop a strain of urine and release it, but not anymore. Once the stream starts, its on it way out. Yet another downer in this ordeal.
