Bleeding not from fissure

Postby vxnova » 02 Jul 2013, 21:09

I have had success with my fissure by adding lots of natural fiber to my diet but have noticed i am bleeding in spots around by anus. After i have a bm i will find some blood on the tissue but it is not from the fissure, it is from some spots just above or below the opening and does not hurt but i am concerned. It is a small amount of bleeding but i think it is hemroids. I have felt around the area and it is small bump that disappears and stop bleeding but will reappear.

Hi, where bleeding is concerned it's always best to have your doctor determine the reason for it. It's usually something simple but to be on the safe side find out exactly what is going on. Once you do this you can better be able to treat it. All the best Suzy.

It could be hems, I do have a few, or a tag..any how, I'm usually too sore to look, My Gastro Doctor does that, very gently, or I would kill her..lol.
Joking aside, Suzy is rite, go too your doctor to determine what the issue is. All our best..Image

I bleed from my hemorrhoids just about every day. Unless it is to excess (does not go away after a few minutes), and is not bright red then it is not usually serious. Still, your doctor would be the best person to ask about this and join the others in recommending that you do this. Image

As everyone has said, get the bleeding checked out but my guess also would be a pesky pile! - especially if it tends to reappear and then go again. Don't stress yourself too much either x

vxnova, like everybody already said, have your doctor confirm that is nothing else but hems.
Red blood is most of the time sign of hems if is not followed by pain and discomfort.
I hope your doctor give you some reassurance that everything is ok with fissure and nothing else is going on.
