Hemmy surgery after Botox??

Postby ES&H » 08 Oct 2013, 18:37

Hey, y'all! I had botox injections and a skin tag removed 8/28. Three days post op I developed some massive hemmies!

Two weeks post op, CRS told me that they should retreat on their own. Well, they haven't. Actually, they did but as I healed and was up and around a bit, they reappeared. I also had 2 BM a couple of weeks apart that were formed. Soft but formed. (I can not deviate from my diet at all! Geez!) So, basically, they want to heal but they are still sooo finicky.

The good news is, is my AF is healing! No pain, no tweeks for 3 weeks +. YAAAYY!

I have a CRS appt two days from now. I have a feeling he's going to suggest hemmie surgery. And if it's going to relieve this pain and get me back on my feet, I'm all for it. (I've been horizontal for 4+ months! I want my life back!!!)

So, here's my dilemma. I fear if he goes up there, I may re-tear. I fear that the AF isn't healed enough.

I'd love some feedback. What do y'all think?

If it was me... I would leave well alone. I developed my fissure in the first place from hemmy surgery.... And 2 and 1/2 years later, after Botox, they are back with a vengeance!!!
Maybe try some anusol with hydrocortisone for a week or so and see if that helps to shrink them??
