Can rain make you sore?

Postby rw76 » 16 Oct 2013, 12:01

I had been feeling back to normal for the last week or so. This week I might have pushed it with an excercise class I took -although I had zero pain during the class or after. The next day I was sore everwhere and my burning returned a bit although totally manageable. It has been raining and a friend of mine who had surgery said she has been feeling more pain with the rain.

What should I be doing. Backing off of exercise? Could it be the rain making it worse? UGH. Hate this. I don't want to slow down I want to work out! :groan:

No clue if rain can make you sore, as I am sore all the time - I will tell you this - I miss the gym so bad it hurts! I was a very active 4x a week gym bunny and a Sunday boot camp thrown in for good measure - now I am lucky if I can walk tonthe bathroom fromy bedroom:(

Ugh, me too! To boot, I am not even allowed to go running, biking, swimming, or weight lifting for three weeks, if not six, per my CRS. I had just worked back up to my four mile run, after being sidelined a month ago... And, I have a 5K in six weeks!

I am doing a little better - pain has subsided but it is not pain free like I was a week and a half ago and now I have a hemorrhoid that has flared up - but that doesn't even come close to the pain of the fissure as we all here sadly now ;) Thanks for checking in!

Oh no - never a rest down there! Stick to epsom salt sitz baths for the hemm, and continue your high fiber diet in the interim. Hold off squats or weights at the gym for now!

My hemorrhoid is the size of a GRAPE now! So crazy but it does not hurt THANK GOD. I feel it sometimes and it hurts if touched but compared to the fissure pain it is NOTHING. So crazy. Gotta be thankful for the little things like pain so bad that makes other pain seem like no biggie. :o
