New Problem

Postby Oregon Fissure » 26 Oct 2013, 00:46

Well, I've been aggressively treating my fissure with all sorts of things: diet, medicine, baths, painkillers, exercise, ect, and it's finally starting to feel better. A lot better in fact, which is a huge relief.

However, now I've got another problem that's equally aggravating. I've developed 2 pea sized bumps on my anus. One doesn't hurt at all, it's just there. But the other one hurts a lot, especially when I poop. It's also constantly leaking a small amount of clear fluid.

So now instead of feeling like I'm pooping glass from the fissure, I feel like I'm pooping hot coals from this painful lump.

Anybody have a guess what this is? Hemorrhoids? Anal cyst? Something else?

I think you should have a doctor to look at it, in case its an abscess...
- Fissure developed in Jan '13
- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Could be a cyst, could be a blister from any creams you are using that have agrivated your skin.... Could be an abscess.

Thanks for the quick responses!

I don't have a temperature, but I have been using a lot of creams to treat the fissure. I took a picture to look at what was down there, and it looks like I have 2 little red pimples down there.
