Anyone have LIS with IBS or IBD?

Hi all!

Has anyone had LIS with IBS or IBD? I am getting checked for IBD first, and if that's ruled out, they're thinking IBS, I guess. They want to rule out IBD before doing LIS, as an IBD could cause recurrent fissures, and you can only do LIS so many times. I'm curious to hear if anyone has had LIS done with one of the following and if it was successful.

Oct. 2013 - 1st round of Botox & skin tag removal
Dec. 2013 - 2nd Botox
March 2014 - Spinchterotomy

Can't help you, I'm afraid. I have IBS, but have not had LIS. I am sure that your doctor will be the best person for advice on this. Good luck and let us know.
