My 8 month old fissure is finally healed (using a foot stool while using the toilet was the most helpful in healing..like using a squatty potty). However, I still get this "glass shreds" sensation when I press on the area the fissure was in. Just wiping can bring it on. No pain while going to the bathroom any more just this weird annoying feeling. It sometimes itches as well. Could this be symptoms of a sentinel pile? I know not everyone gets symptoms of the SP but for those that have/do, what do they feel like to you?

Spoke too soon...while I was healed (no symptoms) for 2 weeks, this morning, the fissure opened up again.
