Pain one month after botox- advice?

Postby Flaneur » 06 Jul 2014, 05:39

Hi, I had botox and fissurectomy (at 12 oclock) a month ago. The last few days I've had an aching/burning pain first at about 9 o'clock, and now at around 2-3 o'clock. The 2oclock position is where my original fissure was. Is this a sign the botox is wearing off already? Or a sign of healing? Or does it likely mean the botox hasn't worked?

So sick of having a broken bum :(

The Botox should not have worn off. Do you know how much botox you were given? Give it time, over the last month have things gotten better, worse or stayed about the same? You need to stay on a good diet. i deviated last night and today is not a great day. I'm over 60 days into botox and have been feeling great. I ate meat last night and had a couple of glasses of wine, probably didn't drink enough water. Today, although my BM was soft it took longer to come out and I'm a little sore today, some signs of small spasm. I'm not overly concerned as I believe I did not do any real damage. Just a reminder of how careful we must believe. Good luck.
