I am trying to consume the recommended daily fiber and i want to make sure i am calculating at correctly.

If it says for example

3g dietary fiber and 3g soluble fiber does it count as 6 grams of fiber of just 3 for the dietary fiber?

same question with soluble & insoluble fiber.

That would be 3g total dietary fiber. I use My Fitness Pal to keep track of my foods. It calculates your fiber for you. They have a great free website and app.
