Hi all. I was wondering if someone can tell me when they say your fissure is a 'tiny white line' with the white indicating 'fibrosis' is this a bad thing or is that just a stage of healing? I have had this fissure for nearly a year and was hoping for some good news yesterday...

Fibrosis means scar tissue, so it sounds like it has healed. You could ask for your notes (I always do) so that you can get a complete picture, msimon. Hope that you are not in so much pain any more.

Thanks. Well it was feeling better but hurt on a soft BM today. I am so frustrated! I hope it was just something else that twanged and is yanging now the rest of the day so far

My CRS still sounded on board for doing LIS though...is that weird. All he said was that it looked a little better since last time. I am so confused. Does scar tissue mean it has healed some but not all the way? This is the same fissure that another CRS couldn't even see, despite looking in the same place. Is it normal to have this kind of inconsistency. Maybe it means it's so small only some people see it? Sorry for the ramble. Pain has gotten my brain at the moment...
