This is my first introduction to this forum and lucky that I found this forum and thanks for the information. Let me tell my pain history first, so you can guide me the right way.
I got diarrhea while I took antibiotic for flu in last five months. When I had bowel movement, I got sharp pain even my stool was dark liquid, then I went to see a GP who gave antibiotic and he gave me codeine syrup to relief from diarrhea, it stopped but pain was still in my butt hole.
I saw GP again and he gave me Protosedyl suppository and ointment without physical examination. I had used for one week and not getting better, so went to see GP again and he told me to apply for another a week. After two weeks later, I felt better but I got pain again in another two weeks time. This time, GP did physical finger examination and gave me same medication for a week to apply. I have asked for the pain source that is haemorrhoid (inner) and he told me that pain from stress and he hasn’t told me that was haemorrhoid.
My pain was on and off, atleast once in a fortnight, in the mean time, I have seen with Chinese doctor, took Chinese medicine, apply cream. Not totally cured for me, finally same GP referred to specialist and when I booked, I have to wait 3 months time (Sydney, Australia).
My pain was on and off, blood found in tissue at least once in a fortnight, then I was googled for the local good GP and went to see him.
This time, the GP listened carefully about my pain history, checked my abnormal area and butt area with surgical light. He told me that I have small anal fissure, not haemorrhoid and have to apply Rectogesic ointment 1cm strip, two times a day. I have used for 10 days and felt better but two days ago, my stool became hard and kicked my anal and found blood again, even I ate vegies, fruits, and drink lots of water.
Now, I am in pain again and I would like to know that I should apply cream for 3 times daily for faster healing as ointment tube dosage says.
Thanks in advance and greatly appreciated,
Kind regards,
Myit Zu
