First, I wanted to thank you all for giving me advice about MOM on the other post. You'd think by now I'd realize that sometimes I need to do what I feel I need to do to feel better instead of what a doctor tells me a do when they don't know my body. Geesh!
Here's my question. When my former primary doctor said I had fissures, he said I'm sending you to a colo-rectal surgeon. But, I didn't realize until I looked her up recently on the net that under her name it says "General Surgery/Vascular Surgery". Is vascular something to do with the heart? Or am I getting it mixed up with something else? I looked for a colo-rectal surgeon in the area and couldn't find anyone.
I'm wondering if that's why she's pushing so much fiber because isn't alot of fiber suggested for heart patients?
I know she's had other patients with tears and fissures because she was telling me that one lady took 6 months to heal using the cream. She's very experienced as a surgeon from what I've read about her. From what I've read on the board, it's not the best thing to have a general surgeon, though. I don't really have any other choice right now, but I'll keep on looking in case I need to find a new doctor for another opinion in the future.
