One thing to point out, I first had anoheal prescribed by the CRS. When I needed more, I went to my GP who prescribed diltiazem ointment. It was the same active ingredient (diltiazem hydrochloride 2%) but was similar looking to vaseline, and didn't have to be kept in the fridge. Whilst it may have the same ingredient, I reacted very differently to it (I found it itchy/burny so stopped using it soon). I had to go back to the GP and specifically ask for anoheal = diltiazem cream; and it's the one that has to be kept in the fridge.
But yes, it is available on the NHS.
