It's probably the single most frustrating thing about dr. visits... To be in pain and to have that pain dismissed, as if there is nothing you would rather do in a day then haul yourself into a doctor's office and expose your most vulnerable of places and lay your vulnerabilities under a bright light for inspection. I'm thinking you would have felt far better about your visit had the doctor simply admitted he wasn't seeing the source of your pain and so he would like to refer you to another doctor who might be better able to make an assessment. Instead, the patient leaves the office feeling invalidated and even more distressed than before. One scenario you leave feeling worse... An alternate scenario you leave feeling hopeful, like you have a team on your side who cares about your health, comfort and well being.
Keep hanging in there... Keep coming here and opening yourself to encouragement and support from people who understand your pain, your frustration, your setbacks, and your just wanting to be well...
sending you a warm hug of encouragement and thoughts of comfort and peace.
