Hi Pain,
Yes absolutely! After I ceased using Diltiazem, although the pain levels dropped immensely and my days were much better, I continued to experience this pressure in my bottom, which was just really annoying! It was like I needed to go to the toilet or moreso, expel trapped gas, but there was nothing there to come out. It wasn't painful just irritating more than anything!! I'd notice it more in the evenings and it would last pretty much until I went to bed. I think I had this sensation for a good 2-3 monthsish. I wasn't sure what it was but deduced it was probably still spasms BUT the good news is, nothing got any worse and this sensation did finally disappear - I guess as the fissure healed more & more. Then I went through another stage of healing with some odd twinging, pricking, itching, which I'm guessing was the scar tissue really kicking in and stuff maybe calming down. It was all really weird but I guess you notice every stage of healing down in that very delicate area! This is when I started to use Coconut Oil, which I found really helpful.
Healing is very slow as you know and there's kind of different processes you go through as it happens but it sounds to me like your recovery stage is very similar in respect of timing and sensations to mine........
Fingers crossed big-time that this is now happening to you because if so, you will be getting better and better!! Just keep up all the great work in the meantime and stay positive and determined!!! You're doing really well :D
