More pink may indicate that they are getting better as that sounds more like skin tags (they leave behind skin tags when they heal sometimes). When did you first notice them? I always would lay on my left side (the hemorrhoidal plexus drains out the left side) as much as possible and avoid much standing or sitting until some swelling improved. Gentle aerobic exercise is supposed to be good too. Another trick I had was to take a container of hot water and a cloth and while laying on my stomach, ring out the cloth and place it between the cheeks (while it is warm and not too hot) and keep doing this for 10 minutes at a time, keeping the cloth warm. You could even add salt to the water as this can pull out some of the swelling. I found that the heat would open up the blood vessels and laying on my stomach would enable the swelling to drain out and away from the area. Hope this helps.
