Are itching and spasms the same or different?
Like prolonged intense itching. Would that be a spasm? Kinda makes you jump at some points.

Or does a spasm feel differently?

Yesterday I felt pain. All day.

Today I feel more intense itch.

I had intense spasms after I would have a BM that would be excruciating until I literally sat down and it would release. It ended up making it feel like I was constantly sitting on a golf ball. It completely went away when I left my company. It was all from stress! It definitely didn't itch!

I always think that difference for me was itching was piles playing up, some piles cream then helps, spasm something relating to fissure. But they might be me.
