Yeah, avoiding caffeine definitely makes a difference for me. I sometimes find eating a lot of fruit and veg makes my BMs too soft too, which is difficult because obviously I want to try and have a healthy diet!!
I haven't had any fruit in 18 months because of this fissure as fruit is one of the worse things for giving me practically liquid BMs. Veg isn't quite as bad though so I try and have some once a week lol
Wow, that's a long time. I'm definitely going to try and eat a bit less of it and see if that helps. It's all very well trying to have a healthy diet but I'd definitely prefer not to be in pain!!
