Won't old age fix my af in time?

Our muscles are ment to loosen with old age if I just wait long enough wont nature take care of my af?

Maybe when you're 100? I'm 60 and still had a tight-enough sphincter that required surgery.

Many of my other muscles have atrophied to some extent, but apparently my bum hole was as strong as it always had been.

Fissure since about 2007
Fissure diagnosed in 2011
Diltiazem for two years - didn't work well
LIS January, 2015
Hemorrhoidectomy December, 2017

Oh ok there goes that idea haha did you find a world of difference after surgery? Is the bum muscle looser have you checked it before an after with the tone test thingy?

All is good. I have no idea how tight I was or am, but am grateful to be a real person again.
