3 months post lis and fissurectomy

Postby Jsingh » 11 Dec 2013, 18:00

Hi All,...a quick question...I am now a little over three months post fissurectomy ,tag removal and second lis..fissure pain and spasm is gone...however I am stuck with this constant burning sensation in the anal region ,not related to bowel movement..sitting is difficult. In addition any time I sit I get this intense wave of nausea which accompanies the burning sensation...spoken to a number of doctors but no answers...I know it sounds weird but is real...any input would be appreciated..

The steroids gave me relief..but I stooped using it because of the same concerns...although the data is limited ...supposedly happens after prolonged use but I did not want to take any chances.. Hope you are feeling better.

I was thinking about you today on your progress. How are you feeling? Has your burning eased out little bit?

Hi, try a little unrefined coconut oil on the scar tissue. You can usually find it in the organic section of the grocery store. It's really soothing and it helped me with the burning sensation. Suzy
