3 months post op, not healed. New doc?

Postby Harper05 » 06 Apr 2017, 11:59

hi everyone, I am 3 months post op and not healed. I still throb. I went in for a follow up last week and my crs didn't see anything wrong I'm just not healed yet, and hes not sure why. He said I can do a MRI, but that's $$$.
Do you think getting a second opinion would be worth it? Not sure its worth the time and money...

If you're not getting answers from your current doctor, definitely see another. An MRI will be expensive but could reveal problems that are not obvious externally such as an infection.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
