45m..Baby due today

Postby Wilson45TN » 03 Mar 2019, 11:22

Hi and 45 years old and got my AF in Vegas a few months ago. I think it was attributed to dehydration from too much booze. I’ve tried diet change and calcium blocker but that’s it so far. I’m seeing a RCS in a week to hopefully get the LIS surgery. Its worth the risk of shitting my pants here and there as opposed to the pain these can bring.
Our first child was due yesterday. I’m so glad she didn’t come bc I was layed out all day long in bath, shower, toilet, couch. It’s a bit sad that I have to be in this condition whe my pregnant wife really needs the attention.
Thanks to whoever runs this forum. I’ll be dropping in from time to time and I pray my surgeon does in fact let me do it ASAP. And if that happens I will give feedback. All you guys hang in there.

I had the LIS and got out 30 min ago. Headed home. Pain dull and very intense. 8/10. Ask surgeon if I could eat and what. She said “you can eat steak and potatoes.” Very odd. Then asked if I should be taking miralax or fiber. She said yeah for a couple days. Only said take Morton and Tylenol. I’m in a lot of pain l. Gave me some generic recovery papers. Man o man , just don’t seem cool.

Keep taking Miralax for a few months and hang in there, the pain will gradually subside

Thanks. I just used bathroom for first time. It was watery but pain at a 2. No spasms. Also I was in bad pain coming from hospital but that died down when I took 3 kitten and just laid on couch.
So far it’s more than I coulda wished for 7hours in.
Thanks abu

Wishing you speedy healing! That was definitely an odd comment by the doctor on what to eat. Steak is one of the heaviest things for the digestive system to handle and is not a good idea if one wants to have soft BMs. And like Abu said, stool softeners need to be continued for a while before you can ease off them and stay healed.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy

No BM today so basicly not one to speak of I guess. Just took a cap of miralax. Maybe I should take one in morning and one at night...? it’s been 30 hours... I ate Oats and eggs for breakfast. Fruit, hummus and cod for lunch. Lentil dish and a veggie curry for dinner w rice. Also had two cookies today...and a small salad. If I dont go tomorrow I’m gonna worry.
