7 months post LIS had more improvement

Postby Mypoorbutt » 03 Jun 2017, 11:34

Just wanted to say that I had a pretty bad IBS incident last night....think mount etna and although my butt did burn and sting there was for the first time in nearly two years NO spasms
Now I'm 7 months post LIS and have still had spasms when my IBS or crohns flares up. This was the first time I have had a flare and been spasm free
I'm not holding my breath that this will be the case every time my flares happen but I just wanted to let people know that there is always hope. I had resigned myself to the spasms after a flare but last night gave me a chance to realise our bodies do try their best to heal and even if for whatever reason it takes longer never give up hope
I'm so happy lol :D

So happy for you mbp!!!! What a great milestone - it must feel so good to know you're not going to suffer as much as you used to if you have a flare. Hugs and cheers!!!
