I’m 6 weeks post fistulotomy for a simple low fistula. The wound site of the fistula opening was about 2cm away from where I was getting recurring abscess but I figured the CRS knows what he’s doing.
Yesterday, the abscess came back. 24hrs later and it had burst.
So does this mean the fistulotomy didn’t work? Or can it still be the internal wound discharging pus 6 weeks later?
Any ideas??
