Anal Fissure Hem?

Postby Deleted User 7980 » 15 May 2020, 15:37

26 Year Old otherwise healthy

Currently being treated for a skin fungal infection around groin /bum area. Thankfully starting to settle and going away. Though this has exposed a cut that is vertical in nature running north of my anus and continues up a few cm up.

Sometimes a sharp feeling when passing stools and blood on paper normally one wipe all clear, but tonight after I flushed the toilet, didn't think it was a overly hard motion to pass but there was floating after flush, a small bit of blood (could have been a clot)

Could an anal fissure be the cause of this?

I had a rectal exam in Feb and GP said everything was fine and put it down to a fissure and warned me it can take a while to heal but just with an obvious sight of blood in the toilet it freaked me out

Hi there, I would go see a colorectal specialist and get evaluated. It could be a pilonidal sinus, and will need appropriate treatment.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
