Any risk of infection?

Postby Diapresso » 29 Jul 2021, 21:50

Hello I'm new here but have had anal fissure since mid December last year.
Was wondering if there was any chance of infection? Perhaps in the brain??
I remember hearing stories about people who had worm parasites living in their brain because that person didn't wash properly after going to the toilet. I cant imagine having feces in direct contact with your blood being particularly healthy...
I cant find any info on this subject and it kinda worries me. I've been dealing with brain fog and some other physical health problems which I worry could have been caused by the fissure.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I don't imagine that parasites would enter your brain from your own feces unless your feces was already infected, but it would be entirely possible for a parasitic infection in the brain if your blood/body was already infected as it can travel through your bloodstream.
