Patience you are sweet to respond and I hope you are well . That’s what I’m going to do when I talk to the crs and my gyn in mid September. I have a pinched nerve in my neck at the moment and was prescribed flexeril recently. During the two weeks I took it I had very little burning . I think it worked similarly to the 5mg oral Valium I was prescribed last year. I am going to ask about this as well. I know the crs will be able to check my levator as she did last visit. So maybe it really is Levator ani brought about by stress. Fingers crossed!! God bless ! I will post any updates

I am doing well thanks! I hope you find an answer soon. Stress can make the pelvic floor tighten up a lot, so maybe deep breathing can help.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy

Hi Burnziety,
I too suffer from a pain that's only aggravated by sitting. It's truly disabling. Did you manage to improve your symptoms?
