I am considering doing laser on anal fissure as lis completely failed me. Does anyone know if you could do fissurectomy on anal fissure and still have anal sex later on down the line?

Im not asking for medical advice. Im asking for first hand experience

OK, but only a medical professional can advise you on the safety of the experience, which as far as I understand it is what you are asking about.

I have heard from a few people who have, yes, Mindhex. I did fissurectomy with anoplasty, followed by fistulectomy (extremely minor) due to complications of first surgery. That was 5 years ago. At the time I said never again. But I have finally got up the nerve this many years later that I am open to anal sex again, someday, without fear if with the right person/penis. So my partial-experience answer is yes - but it may take a few years before you feel comfortable.

And as for the posts above: I asked this specific question of several doctors and the surgeon who operated. ALL said there was NO contraindication. They said: the fissure might come back - a greater chance than a person who has never had a fissure, but certainly a lower chance than without the surgery. But that is true whether you're having anal sex or just going to the bathroom.
