So I final found a CRS that I trust, and I've schedule a cauterization of the fissure as well as a skin tag removal and hemorrhoid banding if necessary. Sounds like I'll be awake for the procedures.

Has anyone had the cauterization done?

In terms of skin tag removal - how painful is it and how long until the wound heals? I'm trying to figure out how long I'll be off my horses and when I'll feel comfortable driving after all is said and done.

How did ur procedure go?

Someone in the anale fissure Facebook group had cauterization. She said her bum burned like hell for 4-5 days. Worst pain ever and nothing but lots of baths helped. She didn't recommend it.
