Gals,
Thanks for all of the prayers. I was completely relaxed for the scope and the CRS agreed to use the linocaine and used a smaller scope with a light. She saw no fissure and only a small hemroid. Therefore, I qualify for the pelvic floor retraining classes which I will start ASAP, but probably will have to wait a few months to get into the classes. I really appreciate all of the support.

Wow-that's great news! Can you tell us more about the pelvic retraining class? How far do you live from the clinic? When do you go home?

Thanks all of for the comments. I will have to wait 3 months to start the classes (pelvic floor retraining), but I will be on a waiting list in case there are any cancellations. My pelvic/rectal muscle is not right and I need the Miralax to get things going through. Hopefully, after the pelvic floor retraining, I will be able to get off of Miralax/a laxative.
We live 6 hours from Mayos and will be heading home in the morning. I would like to have a summer home here as it is very nice. I will continue to check the calendar and add persons as scheduled to let my friend Dwight know about them. He is a hospice chaplain as well as working as a hospital chaplain and is about ready to start working again as p-t minister. As if he didn't already have enough to do. Thank you again for all of the prayers and support!! I really appreciate all of it immensely.

No fissure! So happy for you, hope it will never ever come back again to torment you!!!
Mayo seems to be a good place to get check ups and exam. Is it expensive?
The hospitals I have been to have only had big scopes, don't they know that that size is hopeless when having a fissure?
Good luck with your training Image Corsica

Image thats wonderful news Cheryl. Just remember not to do anything to upset your fissure!!! You dont want the dreaded thing to pay a visit any time in the future - may you remain fissure-free forever!
