Dear Ever the Optimist,
I found that the packing material I got from the hospital are sticking to the skin after removing. Causing the wound to tear resulting in bleeding again. Have you tried kaltostat before? Do they stick to the wounds? Thanks.

Oh Reborn,
Unfortunately I can't help you there as fortunately, I never had to pack my wound - just left it open. I'm really not able to help you here. Someone else will or if you go to a pharmacy, they are normally really helpful about these things? or you could just pop in & ask a GP?? I can see how this could be an issue though - I hope you find your solution soon.

Dear Ever the Optimist,
I got no issues with my packing now. I got some packing material from the pharmacy that does not stick to the wounds anymore. And the wound stops bleeding. Just need more time for it to heal. Thanks.

Hi Kathy,
Hope you are doing fine now. I tried to very gentle on the wounds now and bleeding seems to stop. I can see the white tissues slowly filling up. Less deep than it was 9 days ago after operation. :)
