Discharged from surgeon now :)

Postby shouldi » 22 Jan 2013, 03:13

Hi All,
I had my final check up last week which was 7 weeks since botox, as i have had no pain or bleeding since the botox the surgeon does not want to see me anymore :) i have to continue taking laxido sachets once daily/twice daily.. his only concern was that i still have this ache in my left bum cheek, lower back and hip area... he does not think its anything to do with my fissure so has recommended i see a rheumatologist... so not finished with hospital yet :(
at least at the moment my fissure seems to have healed.
i am going to carry on with the coconut oil day/night just as a precaution, and am still eating sensibly....

GGky1959: Coconut oil can be placed in the area to promote healing. You can find in a natural food store in a jar like you'd see mayo in. I'm giving it a try. Only been 2 days. There is some improvement but it's too early to tell just yet.

Ring of fire.....I got the oil, but I'm too sensitive to place it inside my butt. Just going near that area unless its with a hot rag soaked in heated water or ice bags, is unbearable. For some reason, my stool hardens and I'm convinced its the OTC medicine I'm taking....
