Blizzards are always comforting!
At least the ice cream ones.

Dear Lecia,
I am glad things are moving on and you are having these other areas looked into, i sure hope they can find some answers for you and quickly.
I really hope the pain is somewhat improving and the diltiazem eases things off...
You and your daughter look gorgeous in that photo Image

Thank you guys. I am on quite a few prayer lists at the moment so that makes me feel better.

I forgot to mention that the CRS wants me to see a rheumatologist as well to see if I have a connective/soft tissure disorder. I have always tested positive for Anti-nuclear antibodies but have never had any other markers for autoimmune disease though.

I have two sweeties. My oldest is 10 and my younger daughter is 5.

And what is wrong with 2 blizzards, might I ask, Kim? I think I am entitled to 3 at this point!

Lecia, I just checked in and read about your problem.
First of all , you really don't deserve this crap any more, and My hope is you get some answers fast.
If you don't get some really good answer as to how to remedy this please let me know and I know of a CRL in SFO who's supposed to be a "magician" when it comes to butt problems.
No kidding , this guy has been referred to me by three different doctors out here. I'll send you my email address if you need to go that way.
Head up, smile and convince yourself that you love pain ........at least until you get squared away.
You've been an inspiration to all of us Lecia - we need you !!

You are very kind, John. Thank you for your caring and referral. If I don't get some answers at Wake Forest then maybe I will have to cast a wider net and see what else there is to do.

I live in SC but if someone really thought they could help me I would go anywhere.

Hope you are doing okay.

I meant to mention this earlier, but I ordered the Nature's Platform that goes over the potty so that you can squat and go. I figure it couldn't hurt to try and see if it makes a difference at all. Image
Here is the link:I am just worried about splatter!

excellent. i am glad you are trying the squat method. just be sensitive to not straining even in the squat position.
i love blizzards too.....my favorite is the banana split blizzard. that kit kat blizzard was a big disappointment! anyway, i must get me a blizzard too this weekend.....
have a wonderful day and things can only GO UP from here! as shania twain would say.

Thanks, Gareth!
BTW: I think they need to come out with some new blizzard flavors like:
Twix
Toblerone
Ice Cream Sandwich!!!

I hope the squatting method helps. My CRS said he recommends that position and this platform is made in NC! It hasn't come yet. I want my husband to install a hold bar next to the potty so I feel more secure perched up there.

Lecia - you look so beautiful in that dress : )))) !!!!
I am so sorry that they did not have an answer right than and there : ( and I know how it feels when you think that doctor is just giving up on you : (. It is so interesting that your tests for autoimmune disorders always come back positive - hmmmm... I really hope that they will have some answers soon and that other specialists will be able to pinpoint the exact problem. I hate that now after so many procedures that they performed they say that it might be too much - like you yourself invented your problems and performed those procedures by yourself - like it was not their suggestion and their call Image Image Image !!! If they knew the better way, why did they choose to do all of those procedures - just crazy. Don't you just LOVE when they start blaming the patient for all that is happening Image .
Thanks for the link for "natural way" ! I am squatting for some time now and it seems like it is helping - to reduce the splatter I put some toilet paper in the water (about 6-7 squares ) and believe it or not it is enough !!! Mayor drawback - not a pretty sight Image and you can not read
- at least not without that platform Image !
Love you buddy - hold on and never give up !!!! :sprinkleheart:

Lecia,
Hang in there. I am a big fan of Mayos, but that is just me (as was my deceased father who had open heart surgery there).
