Apologies for sharing this, however I'm finding the healing process has more downs then ups at the moment! I got fissures as a result of child birth and ever since I've had pain during and after bm's. However, sometimes sex causes a lot of pain to that area and around the perineum during and after. And usually when I next have a bm the pain is worse than ever. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have found anything that has helped? I'm thinking possibly the whole area is still affected by the trauma caused to it by childbirth but I can't be certain. I've been to the doctors countless times now and they just give me anusol which helps with the itching but not much else! Thank you for reading
