Is it normal to still have light brown exudate/goo coming out of the open wound and rectally at this point?
The wound is pretty shallow now, and the itching is sooooo intense!

How far are you out from which procedure again?

about two weeks.

It's hard to say. I can only speak from botox-fissurectomy point of view. And I think intermittent blood is normal as it can take up to a full 8 weeks to heal. But, I can't speak of brown-exudate/goo. The important thing is that it's not a sign of infection. Also, if concerned, it dowsn't Hurt to ask the doc's office.

i had this brown/red sticky exudate tooo.... they say its clots and debris.it decreases with time, i had my LIS on 16th may2012.
it does itch when it heals.
