Return to LIS - Considering surgery or already had it?

I took a very small dosage of Lorazapam when I was in agony from the AF. Without it I would have had no rest. It was appalling enough to go through the day; to have had pain at night too would have finished me off!

To be honest savaici the nights are the worst for me...that when I end up sobbing and thinking very dark thoughts if I can manage to sleep I always feel better mentally if not physically lol...lorazepam is like diazepam and I had 4 of those ob Sunday night and was still screaming in agony...so really hoping this new combo of tablets will work

MPB To sit for 2 hours and at a 3 is pretty darn good . Last night I worked my overnight schedule and even though I had a few moments where I had to get up Iwas able to sit much longerand one stretch I managed 2 hours so Things are improving. Igot home and took half of Amitrypline and
It conked me out. Had a BM at work just before I left andall good. Minor pain after maybe a 2 so not to bad keeping fingers

Yes I was very pleased but that is normal for me even before LIS if I manage to go two days without a BM. I know the fissure is still very much there as I cannot lay on my back with my legs straight as it starts to hurt after a few mins. Glad you had a pain free BM I would love one of those lol.

Approching 5 weeks after surgery and feels like things are calming down. So if this continues then the 4 to 6 weeks timeline appears to be true. Keeping fingers crossed.

Glad it seems to be settling for you Jim I'm sure if I could get decent BMs I would be a lot better too lol
Since pain is only a 3 today I decided to go swimming....make the most of a good day...I managed 10 lengths but did do a few hand weights too. Nothing seems to be hurting more pain still a 3/4 which again confirms that it is all down to my BMs
I'm going to be brave and have a few spoonfuls of soup for lunch....see if my new tablets really do work lol
Fingers crossed
