Newbie here. I’m trying to find anyone who’s had experience of an abscess actually ON their sentinel pile itself? Is this where they’re usually found? I do have a fissure which is currently controlled. However, I had a painful colonoscopy last week due to looped sigmoid. Then, three days later, the most painful, swollen sentinel pile. The ‘stalk’ part burst on its own 3 days later and is still draining
I’m wondering if this is trauma-related or fissure-related?
Any clues....
