6 month post Botox update. Doing great. Diet and life back to normal. Virtually pain free. Still have large sentinel tag that means I have to attend to good post BM hygiene. Which is a bath if possible or witch hazel soaked wipes. Haven't needed nitro for a month although I still keep it handy. I can get some spasm if BM is too firm but it resolves itself. I can experience occasional flare up in the itchy symptoms down one side. I have used steroids to ease this previously but now find a couple of days of application of sudocream eases the desire to scratch.
All in all life is fabulous. So hang in there friends, it can get better. Xx Pia

Great to read through your post Pia!
(My daughter is a Sophia but we also call her Pia!)
It's such a great feeling when you feel that you are finally there and can look back at those horrible first few weeks and notice such a significant improvement.....and better still, that life feels NORMAL once more!!
You do sound so much like you've hit that point that both me & Marge were at a few weeks ago - As time goes on that Sentinel pile should start to calm down more & more and become less bothersome too. I also went through exactly the same as you, what seemed like endless cleaning-up etc. but after a few more weeks, I found I was no longer having to do that, so it is just more time - You'll get there!
I know I will always have a small reminder from that area of what I went through, but in many respects, I see it as a blessing not to become overly complacent again and fall into old bad habits. It's more noticeable after a larger or more solid BM (I think Marge said the same) but it's nothing really, given the original pain & suffering!..........
May life continue to be even more fabulous for you!! and sincerely hoping you won't ever have this to deal with again....Image
