One More Question - MRI

Postby queenofpain » 13 Jan 2014, 16:25

What is an MRI for the anal area like? They don't have to insert anything do they? My CRS told me not to waste my money, but I need to know why I can't conquer pain once for all.

Hi QOP,
I had an MRI to look if anything else was going on back there other than Fissures. It is done through a pelvic MRI. You lie in a chamber and they take different shots of the area. Nothing inserted thankfully. It might help to rule out anything else going on in that area. Good luck...
Hem Banding sept 2012
2Fissures

April 2013-Botox-Effective short term
Diltazem-No effect, developed Rash

LIS performed on 17.9.14
Ongoing pain/re-tears. Awaiting pressure test results.
