Hi Everyone,
I was on here a few years back and I had an anal fissure at the usual 6 o'clock place and it healed nicely.
Sadly since July last year I have been in agony after a normal bm that felt like my insides were ripping out, even though it was normal movement.
I've had really bad anus pruritus since and painful bm's
Finally got a proctoscopy and the specialists first words were 'hmmmm'
Turns out I have 3 fissures. One at 6 o'clock (normal) and one at 3 o'clock and one at 9 o'clock (which he said is unsual)
Now he thinks I have crohn's, even though I dont have diahrrea, any other pains than the fissure and def not losing weight, healthy appetite etc etc.
Just wondering if anyone has had the unusual positioned fissures without having crohn's?
I'm on Diltiazem now to heal the fissures (even though I used Nifedipine last time that worked ok - I asked why the switch and he said better success rate...is this true?)
