Ring of fire How are you doing? My botox took a goo week to kick in but my before I retore. It took me 3 months and magically I felt so much better. Until it ran out. Hoping yours heals you! So your first lis was complete then? Sorry just wonderig as I am almost a month out from lis and my fissure still hurts all day. Lis site almost healed for me. Haven't gone back to Crs but was considering botox again if I needed to because it did eventually help me. Hope it helps you. I am also female, 33.

Ugh. The cauterization is terrible. I can't believe it's still a medical technique with all of the technology these days!
I think how many rounds of Botox is up to the individual doctor. Mine never does more than two. I think that he thought the second round might be more successful without the tag removal site healing, and it was for a number of weeks, but then I re-tore. I have finally succumbed to LIS and will have the surgery in March. Best of luck to you!
