I had botox treatment five weeks ago. How long should I give the treatment to work? I have had the fissure for a year and am willing to do LIS if this doesn't work. I'm getting anxious to get on with life and try to get pregnant (I'm 38). I had a set back a few weeks ago so I know the fissure is still there. I am seeing the doctor in two weeks. Thanks!

They usually say two months or so. Some people get two rounds if it has been working to some degree. My CRS recommended this and though it helped for a time and reduced my pain, we ultimately ended up at LIS.
