Thank you so much! They helped! I kept repeating to myself something I read in Max Lucado's book, "God can still send angels. God can still move stones." I knew it would take a miracle today with some of my residual pain, the time it took to see improvement, the continued bleeding, and the past year and a half of dealing with this and procedures, and I got one! Praise The Lord!

The CRS said everything looks great! Minimal pin prick blood like I am getting is not unusual, and it should go away soon. I should be fully healed in a few weeks. There is just some residual tissue or something like that that he said is healing. I have been cleared for normal activities- running! and even biking!
No more visits unless I get worse! I am six and a half weeks out from the LIS surgery at this point.

I will keep you all updated, and I am still praying for all of you! You all are the best! I was reading a Rob Bell book that talks about suffering, and how People who have suffered through the same thing can relate on a different level. I feel like that with you all as you've supported me on this tumultuous journey! :thankyou:

Hi vdb324. Happy to hear you are recovering well. Like you, I am also heading for LIS after my 1st round of Botox failed. I could have gone for 2nd round but I do not have high hopes. Thanks for sharing your experiences. It feels good to hear success stories going into this surgery. Enjoy your fissure-free life!

Thanks everyone! You all are the best!

I have been seeing a physical therapist recently for another issue, and hearing I was cleared for running yesterday, she told me I should try going for a run today. I did just that, and it went pretty well. Still some minor irritation/itching in that general area, but it went away fairly quickly. Hopefully, as everything clears itself up as I continue to heal. I'll definitely be taking it easy on the running, as I want to give that area good time to heal. And despite the CRS saying biking is fine, I don't think I'll be getting on a bike any time soon for the next few months! Taking it easy and not rushing things are both lessons that this impatient, extreme Type A person had to learn on this journey!

Still on the up and up and praying it continues. As the CRS predicted, the bleeding stopped a few days after seeing him, and I have been a week and a half or so without. I started running again, too!
