Im good thanks. Got foodpoisning on our wacation, and was a bit nervous about my butt, but I came through it just fine.

Are you still improving?

- Started rectogesic in Feb '13 and diltiazem Apr '13.
- Got botox Jun '13
- Healed by Okt '13, although I still had some irritation for about a year.
- New fissure April '22, healed June 2022
- New fissure 24. December 2023

Oh no JHH, what a nightmare! what caused it? So glad you are ok, botox def worked for you :-)

Yes, I am. Saw CRS this morning and he was really pleased with my progress. I hate to say this after just one month (don't want to curse things) but I think I'm healed!!!

Soey, sorry for late reply, I've been on holiday. How did it go? I only had incontinence when I was taking too much laxitive, other than that I've been fine. Hope you are doing ok?

Hi Rach, how are you? Been thinking of you, what is new?? No, I hadn't heard of a pressure test until you told me about it. I was just put under anaesthetic and was checked that way. Hope you ok xxx

Pizza is the root of all evil... Retears, foodpoisening, you name it!

Cant live without it though LOL :-)

60 something days into Botox, maybe 70, I will not touch pizza. Love it but I want to own my ass, not the other way around. Glad you are doing well.

I'm having LIS, my resting pressure is high. I'm booked in for 11th sept. I'm pretty scared. So glad you are doing so well. I hope you are healed! Xxxx

Diltazem-No effect, developed Rash
July 2014-Diagnosed High Resting Pressure
LIS performed on 17.9.14
Ongoing pain/re-tears. Awaiting pressure test results.

Rach, that is fantastic news, you will be healed in no time and you will never look back. I will think of you all day on the 11th :-D Don't worry, it's a VERY straight forward operation and takes 30 mins tops. I'm healed mate, I have had no fissure pain at all since the operation. A slight twinge here and there but that's it.

JHH, pizza IS amazing. The best is a thin-ish base, with fresh tomato sauce and mozarella, in the oven till the cheese melts and it's total divinity LOL. I couldn't agree more. Saying that I haven't had any yet....boo!
